Tart up your Tights!

So if your like me and you couldn’t get hold of the Henry Holland Suspender Tights, and are bored of the bidding wars on ebay heres some alternatives!! Personally I prefer these anyway…

I love Wolford for the wide range of luxurious legware! They too have jumped on the suspender as tights band wagon! Check out this gorgeous pair with hot dots bow tights for £32!

I absolutely love Chantal Thomass…

It’s the ultimate designer Lingerie brand, a MUST for luxury lingerie Lovers! She reminds women that they can be both attractive and seductive! Pretty much the whole collection is on my Wish List, especially these Sexy Suspender/Tights as seen on Lily Allen, £42! A bit dear but soooo worth it, just make sure you don’t ladder them girls!

Tights are a huge trend right now and will be around for some time, so its time to either invest or DIY. Check out these Alexander Wang tight cycling shorts!  You don’t need a pocket full of cash to reproduce these simply pick your classic denier Pretty Pollys and get snipping!!

There are many ways to customise your own design tights! I love the shredded effect below, this cant be too hard to re create can it girls, lets face it ripping tights is pretty easy!

Kisses!

A Model Must…

Abbey Lee, NY S/S 10

From New York to London, the Model to be and watch this season is Abbey Lee Kershaw. Featuring in the biggest ad campaigns like the Gucci Flora perfume. Abbey has been one of the most wanted booked models, and is set to feature in many more high profile campaigns later in the spring. There was barely a runway she didn’t grace at New York or London Fashion Week.

Abbey Lee, LFW S/S/ 10

The Australian Model has been working in fashion since winning the CoverGirl search in Australia.  She has appeared in campaigns for D&G and CK jeans, and has graced many a magazine since.

Abbey Lee, Gucci Flora Campaign

Did you know that in 2009 during Paris Fashion week Abbey Lee fainted at the Alexander McQueen as she exited the runway. Fashion TV named her 1st in the Face Down Contest for Spring/Summer 2009. It’s good to know that even the most beautiful of creatures sometimes fall flat on there faces!

Its hardly surprising that she is one of the many models to refuse to wear the McQueen Platforms!!  She recently took to FrockWriter Blog to air her views of the McQueen Mania!

Much Love

The New Manolo...

After recently completing her MA at the Royal College of Art, Chau Har has recently won the ITS Accessories Collection of the Year 2009 Award and the Manolo Blahnik RCA 2009 Award with her collection of sculptured footwear creations. The shoe designer has been approached by several labels to design a footwear range, but has chosen as yet not to collaborate.

Her designs are captivating, extremely inventive and break the conventional boundaries. In particularly this Perspex shoe that fits together like pieces in a puzzle. Gravity-defying and architecturally challenged, these designs are set to make a mark in the industry. Watch this space!!

Peace Out!

Its Ice Creams for everyone this Summer!

The biggest trend to have emerged from LFW for S/S 10 is the Ice Cream Pallette. From Louise Golding, Roksanda Illincic. Luella to House of Holland. It was sugar in abundance.

House of Holland S/S 10
Its never a bad thing to be head to toe in shades of Ice Cream in my eyes! Bring out the girly in you… Twist it by adding some S&M bondage style accessories!

My Favourite Flavour this season is The Blueberry Cheescake… Whats yours?

Sweeet!
