The Met Ball 2010

The Metropolitan Museum's Costume Institute benefit this year saw lots of interesting outfit choices......From Anna Wintour, who arrived in a gown designed for her by Karl Lagerfeld. "He's the master, so whatever he says, I obey," the Vogue editor in chief said, and one of my faves - Chloë Sevigny arriving with Proenza Schouler's Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez wearing a dress of their design and Fred Leighton jewels.

Alexa Chung mixed it up a bit in a tuxedo from 3.1 Phillip Lim which stood out amongst the usual Red Carpet dresses. Sienna Miller looked cute dressed by Pucci's Peter Dundas, who said dressing her was a snap as she is the perfect sample-size and also Stella McCartney dressed Kate Hudson, Liv Tyler and herself of course, in her own designs.  My faves included;

Camilla Belle wearing Jason Wu
M.I.A. and Zoë Kravitz wearing Alexander Wang
Sarah Jessica Parker wearing Halston Heritage
Coco Rocha wearing Zac Posen

Must see - Grace Jones exhibition...

A stunning Grace Jones photo exhibition is taking place at the Vinyl Factory in London at the minute. Renowned for her striking looks and sense of style, Grace Jones has come together with the innovative light artist Chris Levine to create some truly stunning images for his latest exhibition. Having captured the Queen in 3D back in 2008, Chris Levine has now moved onto work with the legendary Grace Jones. The Grace Jones photo exhibition goes one step further, showing pictures of the singer in holographic 3D. Entitled Stillness at Speed of Light, the pictures highlight the extraordinary skill with which the cutting edge light artist creates his fantastic images.

Not only did Grace Jones pose for the exhibition photos, but she also asked Levine to direct her latest music video, Love You to Life. The musician is renowned for having worked with fresh and innovative artistic talent such as Andy Warhol, Keith Harring, Jean Paul Goude and Eiko Ishioka, and now having worked with Chris Levine, his skills will no doubt be compared with these illustrious artists. I've always loved Grace Jones so I cant wait to see this exhibition...

The Grace Jones photo exhibition, 'Stillness at the Speed of Light' takes place from Friday 30th April - Sunday 13th May 2010 at the Vinyl Factory in London . Entrance is free.  ♥ Amy x
