One to watch... Joanne Peacock

With her fashion designs currently stocked at online boutique Raw Edge and printed canvasses selling at Savage London, this London based creative is making a huge impression on the world of fashion.

Joanne Peacock, has been causing quite the stir in the fashion industry since graduating from De Montfort University with a BA in fashion design last year. Currently working as both an illustrator and fashion designer for a high-street boutique. 

With her graduate collection kookily named ‘You Can’t Hug With Nuclear Arms’, Joanne’s signature style is perfectly reflected through her bright and playful paint splattered colour palette. Contrasting angular shapes and structured tailoring with soft knits and luxurious draping skills, Joanne’s fashion knows no creative bounds.

Keep your eye out for future work from this young talent!

The Met Ball 2010

The Metropolitan Museum's Costume Institute benefit this year saw lots of interesting outfit choices......From Anna Wintour, who arrived in a gown designed for her by Karl Lagerfeld. "He's the master, so whatever he says, I obey," the Vogue editor in chief said, and one of my faves - Chloë Sevigny arriving with Proenza Schouler's Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez wearing a dress of their design and Fred Leighton jewels.

Alexa Chung mixed it up a bit in a tuxedo from 3.1 Phillip Lim which stood out amongst the usual Red Carpet dresses. Sienna Miller looked cute dressed by Pucci's Peter Dundas, who said dressing her was a snap as she is the perfect sample-size and also Stella McCartney dressed Kate Hudson, Liv Tyler and herself of course, in her own designs.  My faves included;

Olivia, Graduated from Central St Martins College, with a BA in Fashion Print.  Her final collection was chosen for the college's annual press show and received numerous press!  She has gone from strength to strength since.

Olivia has a number of celebvrity fans including Lily Allen, M.I.A, Remi Nicole, Ahyness Deyn, Kelly Osbourne, and Cheryl Cole!
